Our little niece :)

We had our baby niece, Esme sleep over on Friday! I say baby because she is so teeny weeny, she's around 17 months old and still only in 6-9 months clothes! She's started to walk now, and gosh I was following her around everywhere incase she fell, her feet looked too tiny to hold her body, bless her! Even though she woke me up at 5am she cheered me up once I got the camera out ;) she is SUCH a little poser, pulls a cheesy, scrunched up face whenever someone takes her picture!

You can see I put out quilts all over the floor, because we have wooden flooring I was so paranoid she'd fall and hurt herself or something!

In other news, Yasmin's operation is next week. We've booked the hotel, got the time off so we're sorted, just need to pack now! I can tell how nervous Nolan is though, no one wants to see their child have an operation :| but I've tried to reassure him, she can't fear something she doesn't know about if that makes sense, lol. She won't even feel the injection because of the magic cream they'll give her and as far as she will know, she'll just be getting lots of toys and treats for no reason! She's a tough cookie aswell! I think we're more nervous than she is!

Winter's coming...heating's broken!

Great, Winter's nearly with us and our heating as packed in! Had the plumber over today and he was so lovely but came unprepared tools wise, lol. He had to get into my attic to examine the water tank or something and I had to give him a leg up because he forgot his ladder :| it was funny to be fair, lol. Then he had no torch to look around my attic so I had to give him a lighter to be able to see. What a palava!

So anyway, the pipes running from our attic water tank to the boiler in the bathroom are clogged so that's why the water isn't reaching the radiators which makes the house ICY cold. Seriously, in the morning your bones hurt because it's so cold! So it's a HUGE job and going to be very expensive...but these are the benefits of renting a home, I don't pay :) I feel slightly guilty that my landlords going to get a huge boiler bill but I asked if it was anything we could have done or prevented and the plumber did say it wasn't our fault and that the whole boiler system was 40 years old :O So, we've got to carry on in Arctic temperatures for a while longer until he prices the job and consults with our landlords! On a more positive note, only 3 weeks until we see this little face ;

Yasmin's 4th Birthday :)

Yasmin had her fourth birthday last week, she's the tallest four year old I know, lol. Had huge cuddles off her when she saw me but of course she went rooting for her presents straight away. We bought her quite a lot of clothes so I thought "she'll open them and just throw them to one side' but she held each garment of clothing up and pretended to be excited, bless. Her main presents were the Mickey Mouse Mega Bloks play set and the Buzz Lightyear talking figure. She'd asked for Buzz for AGES, so we were like "ok, if you're good you'll get Buzz". But when she opened her presents she noticed that he wasn't there, she tried not to look sad and said "doesn't matter Kimmi, I can play with your old Buzz Lightyear anyway" But I'd just hidden Buzz, and when I came out with him she was like "Kimmi, this might be Buzz!!!!" LOL! And when she opened it she screamed "BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!!!!!"

Here's a few piccies.

Pictures are a bit crappy because I only had my phone! Took her bowling on the Saturday with my sister Paisley (who she loves). She's never been bowling but it's safe to say she LOVED it. She won aswell, I literally came last, none of this "let the kids win business" lol, and I still lost! Then on the Sunday we all went out for lunch together with the family! It was a really lovely weekend, even though it was only the two days :( Yasmin wouldn't stop cuddling and kissing me and every five seconds she was saying "I love you Kimmi" bless her :) Aaaand, if you notice, she's looking OVER her glasses to be able to see, she's been wearing those glasses for over a month now but I'm not sure what good they're doing her, she bumps into things when she's wearing them. But she's got her operation in November so we're meeting her and her mum there in Manchester so we can be with her when she has the operation. Then staying in a hotel in Manchester so we can go home the next day with Yasmin, because Nolan didn't feel comfortable leaving her just a day after being under anaesthetic! So he's booked three days off, so we have five days in Anglesey ! Seen these gorgeous trainers aswell for her, so might buy them for her when she has her operation! I'm nervous for her :/
