Christmas at home!
Hve had such a wonderful christmas at home with all the family! I have been so spoiled, spent christmas day with mum, didn't get there till 11am so I was desparate to open some pressies, what a kid I am. Got loads of girly things like perfume, make up, body butters and cream, wine, pyjamas, chocolates etc and a lot of money to spend in the sales :) Yasmin got spoilt aswell, had all the presents off us along with a tea trolley with a tea set off mum, flanelette pyjamas off Krissi and money off everyone else. She was really pleased! Boxing day we were with dad then, and in Rachels in the evening. Rachel did this HUGE buffet and god we'd just eaten a massive roast, urrgh felt so sick the next day haha! Especially with all the overload on drinking we had done aswell, not good. Getting my hair done tonight, cannot wait, it is looooooong overdue! Pictures to follow when I get the time :D

Snow was a bad idea...
We got snow!!! Wish I hadn't asked for it, didn't realize it would cause so much trouble when you live at the bottom of a huge hill! We woke up and everywhere was white, covered. Nolan had work, but next doors car nearly wheelspan into ours so no way was he risking writing off his car, especially because we're going home tomorrow. We'd be quite literally stuck! So he opted for the train but all the trains were either cancelled or delayed which was fine because he would have waited for one, but he finishes at 9pm, the trains wouldn't have been running then, so boss man phoned and said he could have the day off :) So we literally did nothing, wathced cheesy christmas movies like Muppets Christmas Carol (my favourite), Elf, Jack Frost and The Santa Clause. I made a lush roasted vegetable soup and we just stayed under the quilt all day and stayed warm, good idea it was because it's -6 degrees here!!!! I just hope we can get home tomorrow, because Nolan is seriously worried, its a five hour drive but I don't mind taking the trip slow all day if thats what it takes, Id rather be safe than sorry!

No more thinking about presents!!!
DONE! Christmas shopping is done! I keep thinking I've forgotten someone, its driving me crazy but I refuse to think about it now! Hope everyone likes what they have, I prefer buying people presents compared to receiving them, love to see the look on peoples faces! Didn't really have to do much shopping this year, and I'm not really in the christmas mood, I think its because we don't have a tree or anything. We decided not to bother with decorations and a tree this year, there were a few reasons why. For one, we chucked all our decorations and old tree last year when we moved down to Cardiff so we would have had to buy everything from scratch, plus we're not here for christmas we're with the family for North Wales, and finally we won't be back untill new year and Nolan is back to work and I'm straight back to University so after a five hour car journey we would just be like "errghh we've got to pull this tree and all the decorations down now!". Call me Scrooge, fine, but we didn't even think about it untill like ten days ago! There was no point buying one then! Will try and make more of an effort next year :) Nolan bought some lovely pressies for Yasmin yesterday, as mentioned before, she has already had a tv and dvd player off him so we only bought a few bits; a FiFi play cottage with FiFi figures, Roary the Racing car and talking figure, Bob The Builder work play set, a Ben 10 stationary set, a Tresspass winter coat and some more clothes. Yes, I know a few of them are kind of "boy-ish" but she loves them characters so thats all that matters I suppose. Meanwhile, mum is REALLY looking forward to seeing me, havent seen her in about two months and I never really get time to see her because I have a lot of visiting to do as I don't come down very often. She told me on the phone yesterday that she couldn't wait to give me cuddles and "sniff my hair" and "feel my cute cheeks"...slightly creepy? I think its cute, bless her :)

Cute Vid :)
Nearly forgot, here's a cute little video I took of our niece Esme laughing at the Nintendo wii! I don't know why she found it so funny :D
Presents ...
I'm at a bit of a loss this year present-wise! I know the recession has hit everyone hard so everyone is a bit strapped for cash, so I am not going overboard this year. Last year Kristin and me went halfs on an Estee Lauder make up kit, perfume and suitcase for mum for her holidays, all together it was around £170! Won't be doing that this year I'm afraid! This year, it's strictly wine and chocolates! For me, christmas is for the children anyway, and I will be looking forward to seeing family and friends and having fun! We went halfs with Yasmins mum to buy her a pink 19 inch television and dvd player for her bedroom, so just a few presents this year. So far she has a few bits of clothes, and a nice warm winter coat and a kids laptop which has little activities on it. She had one before and she was always on it, but she told us it had broken so we can replace that for her. She will be spoiled this year as usual anyway, she always prefers the smallest and cheapest present she has anyway. For her birthday, we bought her a Peppa Pig xylophone as something small, and she played with it ALL day, but I think thats how most kids are. Kristins got a new boyfriend aswell, so he'll be spending christmas with us, haven't met him yet so will have to grill him about his intentions towards my sister haha! Whatever happens, presents or no presents, I'll still have a lovely time, because family and friends is what it's all about all about :)

Early Christmas Presents :)
Since Lowri, Charly and myself are going home for christmas we won't be seeing each other for three weeks so we decided to open presents. I was so happy with the pressies I got. Weeks ago we were shopping and I saw a necklace and earring set from Dorothy Perkins I desperately wanted, and when we started Uni second year, I saw that Lowri's mum had painted a picture of me with a snowy landscape for her bedroom. I SO wanted that aswell. So turns out I had both :) Along with a nice bottle of wine from Lowri which will be comsumed tonight with X factor! Thank you girls! Merry Christmas!
